WaterRM3790 Start date: 15 March 2017 End date: 15 March 2020
Following water deregulation, this framework provides an efficient and cost effective way for public sector organisations to buy water, wastewater and ancillary services. The framework has been developed in collaboration with YPO, The Energy Consortium, Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and West Mercia Energy. The framework consists of 3 product and service options, known as ‘lots’:
- Lot 1 – Water Supply and Sewerage Services
- Lot 2 – Ancillary Services
- Lot 3 – One Stop Shop
Lower bills and better value for money
Savings can be achieved by competing your water supply and sewerage services. Supply margins are very low in England, but you can achieve better value for money from enhanced customer service, billing and access to data. You can also join one of our eAuctions and let us combine your requirements with those of other organisations to drive down prices and provide competitive supply margins.
Better customer service
You can benefit from enhanced customer service by competing your supply rather than only receiving customer service from your local supplier. If you have sites in multiple regions, reducing your supplier base to just 1 enables you to streamline your billing and administration to save time.
Help to become more water efficient
Benefit from increased visibility of your data to help you identify water efficiency improvements and support to reduce water consumption.
Tailored services to suit your business needs
Request consumption and billing data to suit the way that your organisation works, including self-service online and dynamic viewing/reporting, to ensure that you are receiving it in a way that enables you to work efficiently.
How to buy
To purchase from any of the lots on this framework, you will need to run a further competition to find the most suitable supplier to meet your needs.
Where we can identify sufficient demand we will also run aggregated further competitions for our customers. This means we combine your requirements with those of other public sector organisations to make them more attractive to suppliers and help you make significant savings. One way in which we do this is through holding an eAuction to enable suppliers to compete online, in real time. We also run the eAuction for you, so there is very little administration for you to deal with.
If you would be interested in getting involved with one of our aggregated further competitions or eAuctions, please let us know.
